Welcome to a whole new musical project. Some of the faces might be familar, but the music is new for everyone.

In 2003, singer-songwriter Tanya Gordon reignited her music career with an idea of putting together a band to perform at the Australian Gospel Music Festival.

Together with her husband Dale Rankine (formerly of The Mercy Bell), they formed Farlow Star - a vehicle for the songs Tanya had been writing over the past several years, plus an avenue to explore a new sound for both of them.

Tanya and Dale wanted to build something that was also fun to be in. They added long time friends Phil Slade (keys/piano) and Simon Jockel (guitars) to the band and the songwriting team. Mal Brown (bass) was someone who also slotted right into the group, and together they now form the basis of what is a totally enjoyable musical experience.

The first single from the new CD, "Around the Bend", has been receiving solid airplay around the country, and internationally as far away as Alaska! The second single, "Home", is due for release in early April 2004.
